Albania energy & electricity improves

ABB: CONTRACT IN ALBANIA TO 20 MILLION DOLLARS
  
(ASCA) – Tirana, Oct. 28 – The group ABB has finally signed a contract which is worth 20 million dollars to the network for an Albanian electricity transmission system that will defiantly improve ‘the trust’ of the infrastructure through monitoring and control of high voltage transmission. As many Albanians know that Albanian electricity has been a critical issue in Albania for years and nothing has been done. However, the units’ Italian division of ABB Power Systems, based in Genoa, supply ‘Network Manager System which will increase’ stability facilitating the adjustment of power between the generation and consumption of energy. The project Practitioner Sistemit Trasmetimit adjusts ‘the Albanian electricity network also with European standards, facilitating the exchange of energy with its neighbors. It is expected that the project be completed within three years.
