Presidential Debate McCain Obama Coverage

Maybe it is not “game over” yet or is it for McCain, as one of the best known political commentators for CNN, John King, but certainly the second presidential debate between the two presidential candidates for the presidency was not won by John McCain. All I can say about the presidential debate is “McCain is the ridicule of the republican party” I mean this guy does not have the nerves to stay up on a stage and presidential debate like real presidential candidate should never mind running a country. But was his favorite format, the so-called ‘town hall meeting’, almost a region, which are the same spectators in the stalls to make candidates can move on stage and watch them straight in the eye. But the cameras, which reflected the comparison from above, were on an inexorable McCain appeared determined in looking but slow for the consequences of torture suffered during years of imprisonment in Vietnam. Too many things are not going short as Republicans hoped: McCain is out of the hall of the presidential debate first, without shake hands with Obama. The nervousness of McCain and also leaked during the presidential debate when he called Obama “than them’”, with superiority, a resounding failure label in a live TV duel. Senator Obama presented himself very well as a presidential candidate and stuck to his game plan; in a presidential debate as dominated by the inevitable financial crisis either of the two candidates for the White House has committed errors sensational. But it was in particular McCain, behind in polls, to need a turning point that there was. Obama reiterated that America is experiencing “the most ‘serious financial crisis from the Great Depression of the blame for failed economic policies of the past eight years, supported by Senator McCain “and stressed that the country” needs a true change of leadership. McCain, appeared more at ease in the format of the questions publicly, recognized that Americans are “angry and a little ‘afraid’ to the current economic situation and proposed that the federal government renegotiate the loans to real estate risk to alleviate the plight of the owners of the houses. The senator of Arizona has accused the rival of wanting to raise taxes. What can be done immediately once elected president? Reforms for energy, health care and Social Security. Obama reiterated that his plan will pay less tax to 95% of Americans. He stated his priorities: first energy (with independence from Middle East oil within ten years), in second place the reform of health care and
third education.

The final part of the presidential debate was devoted to foreign policy. Obama, with more aggressive tone than the first presidential debate, said “not yet understood why ‘we invaded Iraq when the terrorists, 11 / 9 are hiding elsewhere. “He accused Bush and McCain of having committed” an error in the trial. “Obama has described as” unacceptable “a nuclear Iran and” a priority ‘kill Osama bin Laden and crush Al Qaida. “ McCain for his part said that Obama does not understand foreign policy “as demonstrated in case of invasion of Georgia or the idea of attacking Pakistan.” With reference to the Iran problem the Republican candidate said that the U.S. will do everything in their power to prevent Iran from having a nuclear weapon “because ‘no allow a second Holocaust. “Russia is still an empire of evil? McCain responded” maybe “, while Obama said that Russia” has yet nationalist impulses that can be very dangerous. “

The format of the  presidential debate, that prevented practice in a verbal duel between the two rivals, there appeared the great accused of the evening: the moderator Tom Brokaw (who has directed the Traffic questions from the public or via the Internet) is the two candidates have criticized the formula. At the end of the event, which lasted 90 minutes, McCain went away almost immediately from the room where 80 undecided have asked a dozen questions, while Obama and his wife Michelle were withheld for a long conversation with the audience.

Obama won a poll conducted by hot CNN: the democratic won for 54% of the sample of voters who have followed the challenge, while McCain won the presidential debate by 30%. The percentage of Democrats interviewed was higher than that of Republicans, but the sample is representative. Another CBS poll on a panel of independent voters also gave Obama the winner with 39% against 27% for McCain and 35% who saw match ended in a draw.
