UFC Albanian – Mixed Martial Arts
Now United States has become a sport of combat and more followed later acclaimed boxing. This is UFC, the championship of American mixed martial arts, sport more violent and savage, ever conceived in a ring, a spectacle which now has a good number of spectators in Albania, as time goes on air on Sky Sports 2 almost every night at 23:45.
A comment on the meetings, there are two specialists, as Agron Miti, instructor of mixed martial arts and Erjon Maku, the best Albanian of UFC, a duo that leaves from the jargon colorful and playful to comment in any detail technical and meeting. But look closely what is really the UFC, acronym that stands for Ultimate Fighting Championship.
The fights are held within an octagonal cage made of wire mesh, all styles are allowed, from the classics and “clean” like karate, boxing, judo, to the most developed and technicians as the fight Greco-Roman and catch, that the sockets, the strangulation and the keys joints. The UFC was born in Las Vegas in 1993, during a tournament open to fighters of multiple disciplines, organized with the aim of identifying the best fighter in the world. On that occasion was the fighter of ju-jitsu Royce Gracie to triumph, beating in the final shoot-expert in fighting Ken Shamrock and becoming the first champion in the history of this discipline. Inspired by the Brazilian Jujitsu, the UFC was in the early years, a sort of wild brawl with very few rules, often raising many controversial for its brutality, so as to be often obscured in many channels, with a consequent loss of vision. This sport is far away from Albania and I don’t think its gonna escalated in the Albanian community as fast for Albanian fighters to participate in this sport. However, I would like to see Albanian UFC to be introduced soon to albania and see what happens then.
Later the UFC became a sports federation in fact, by binding to athletic commissions and introducing stricter rules. In this way managed to escape from oblivion to become one of the most popular shows in America and around the world, given that currently goes on air in 35 countries. The UFC is also planning to leave the territory of Las Vegas to expand worldwide, both which have already been announced dates in Canada, Mexico and even in Germany. Another move was the commercial reality dall’UFC organized to discover new talents and have them begin in the circuit. Currently the UFC has under contract athletes from every country but especially from every discipline. The most striking was that of Brock Lesnar, former WWE wrestling star, who just a few weeks ago he faced Frank Mir in his debut of UFC.
Despite having lost to submission, Lesnar has not done a bad figure, succeeding from the outset to put Mir into difficulties with its brutal and heavy blows, but then dropped in an ankle lock, the painful subjection of the torches that the ankle all’avversario, making it yield. In UFC experience really counts and every split second the situation can change. Another particular feature of UFC is the fact that age is not an athlete and nothing more than forty years can fly safely and humiliate young wrestlers cooler and more athletic.
UFC have the grit and determination to make a difference, not muscles and age, as Randy Couture showed that last year, the “tender” age of 44 years, won for the fifteenth time the belt true heavyweight champion, putting KO the giant Tim Sylvia. Couture is already part of the UFC Hall of Fame, along with Ken Shamrock, Dan Severn and Royce Gracie. Other dominant athletes in recent years have been Matt Huges, George St. Pierre, Tito Ortiz and Chuck Lidell.
